Description
Children who grow up in poverty are more likely to become poor adults, especially in the United States. This talk investigates whether the U.S. has made progress in reducing the intergenerational persistence of poverty over the last 50 years, and identifies which policies have worked (and which have not) in reducing the likelihood that poor children become poor adults.
